Chargers Return Key Talent and Experience Under Coach B's Leadership
CYPRESS, CA – The Chargers are set for an exciting 2025–2026 season under the leadership of Head Coach Imaku, who enters her fourth year at the helm with an impressive 55-34 overall record and a 25-13 mark in the Orange Empire Conference (OEC). The team's recent accomplishments include a second-place conference finish and a trip to the 3C2A SoCal Regionals Final last season.
Cypress tips off the new campaign at the Fresno Crossover on November 6–7, taking on some of the top programs in the state. This early-season test will set the tone for a competitive schedule that features several first-time matchups in porgram history, including games against Chabot College and San Mateo College.
Off the court, the Chargers will engage fans and the community through special events like the CypCity Tip-Off on October 21 to meet the team and enjoy free giveaways.
Leading the 2025–2026 squad are returning standouts Christaesha Jackson, the reigning OEC Defensive Player of the Year, and Mariah Henderson, a dynamic guard. With a strong veteran core, strategic coaching, and the addition of talented newcomers, the Cypress Chargers are positioned for another competitive and successful season on the court.
