Cypress Has 3 Players Earn All-OEC Nods
3 Chargers infielders are named to the All-OEC First Team.
CYPRESS, CA - The Orange Empire Conference has released the All-Conference teams for the 2026 softball season. Cypress's three selections were Isabella Rodriguez, Peyton Clark, and Lynsey Arostigue.
Isabella Rodriguez [SO] - Infielder, All-OEC First Team
Rodriguez was one of the most consistent hitters for the Chargers during the regular season, batting .403 on the year. She drove in 31 runs, tying for the second most RBIs on the team. She scored 41 runs of her own. On defense, she posted a 91.5% fielding percentage. Rodriguez had 4 games this season where she drove in 3 runs or more.
Peyton Clark [SO] - Catcher/First Base, All-OEC First Team
Playing primarily catcher, Clark had the 4th most hits on the squad with 35. She led the team in RBIs, driving in 42 runs during the regular season. Clark had a .321 batting average and made no errors on the defensive end.
Lynsey Arostigue [SO] - Infielder, All-OEC First Team
In 106 at-bats, Arostigue maintained a batting average of .377. She tied for the second most RBIs on the team, bringing in 31 runs. She had 40 hits and 16 of them were for extra bases. Arostigue stole 4 bases without being caught.
