Cypress, CA - The thrill and excitement of Charger Softball rose to the next level when Chelsee Herron parked the ball over the left field fence to a 6-3 win over Cerritos. Herron's walk-off 3-run shot with no out, drove home Stephanie Luhmann and Monique Martinez who singled and doubled to start the bottom of the 8th. An inning earlier, the Chargers were down 3-2 in the bottom of the 7th, when Mylee Macahilig singled to score Nicole Nobbe to tie the game. Luhmann relieved Alyssia Palomino after 5.2 innings and took the win.
