Men's Swim & Dive Take Home 12th at Pasadena

PASADENA, CA – The Cypress College men's swim team faced off against 18 other colleges at The 19th Annual Pasadena Invitational on Friday and Saturday. The Chargers finished 12th overall, and combined with the women for an 11th place finish.
The Chargers 11 swimmers totaled 51 points, swimming in a combined 51 events. Andrew Cabrera tallied 20 of those points for the Chargers. Cabrera swam in 5 events; 200Y IM (11th), 200Y freestyle (13th), 100Y fly (16th), 100Y freestyle (19th), and 200Y fly (9th). Also, tallying points for the Chargers was Kyle Cabotaje, Nathan Chang and Weston Spoon.
The Chargers are back in the pool Thursday, April 18th and Friday, April 19th at Saddleback College for an OEC match-up.
