CYPRESS, CA- The Cypress men's soccer team (7-4-4, 4-2-1 OEC) finished in a 1-1 tie against the Fullerton Hornets (8-4-4, 4-1-2 OEC) at home on Friday.
The first half ran a few minutes of extra time and it was Logan Garcia who shot the ball way out from the left side of the field. Garcia scored and led the Chargers to a 1-0 lead before the half.
Cypress held their 1-0 lead throughout the second half. However, the Hornets did not settle and came back to pressure the Chargers. At the 88th minute, Fullerton's Misael Gonzalez drilled a shot past the keeper to tie the match, 1-1.
UP NEXT: The Chargers will host Irvine Valley College on Friday, October 28th. Kickoff begins at 3PM.
