Gholson & Akiona Advance to CCCAA State Championships
SARATOGA, CA - Rockelle Gholson and Paulina Akiona will represent the Chargers at the 2017 CCCAA Beach Volleyball State Championships.

SARATOGA, CA - The Cypress College pair of Rockelle Gholson and Paulina Akiona finished 3rd overall at the Orange Empire Conference pairs competition and will represent the Chargers at the 2017 CCCAA Beach Volleyball State Championships.
Gholson and Akiona are the No. 11 seed and will take on the No. 22 seed from Feather River College in the first round. The state championships will be held at West Valley College in Saratoga, CA on Saturday, May 6 and Sunday, May 7.
