Natasha Velez Earns Charger of the Week (Sept. 18-24)

Freshman standout Natasha Velez received her first Charger of the Week on Thursday after outstanding performances in five games last week, which included leading the Chargers to a 3-1 record at the Mt. San Antonio Classic (Sept. 18-24).

Velez scored 24 goals and nabbed 13 steals over a five game span last week. She began the week with a season-high 7 goals against district rival Fullerton College on the road. The La Habra high school alumna followed up her performance against the Hornets with 17 goals in four games during the Mt. San Antonio Classic.

Velez currently leads the Lady Chargers with 38 goals and 25 steals this season.
