MORGAN PATEA EARNS CHARGER OF THE WEEK (AUG. 26- SEPT. 1)

Cypress College soccer standout, Morgan Patea, earned her second career Charger of the Week award before the team headed to the Bay Area for a two-game roadrtip. She is the first athlete to receive the award this year.

Patea had two goals and one assist during last week's New Balance Showcase at Ventura College. During their first game of the season against College of the Canyons, she had one goal as well as an assist to help her team defeat the Cougars. The Cypress High School alumna also scored her second goal of the season in the Charger victory against San Francisco to help her team to a 3-0 record.
