Walker & Ledesma Receive Co-Charger of the Week (Apr. 4-10)

Justice Walker and Vanessa Ledesma have earned Co-Charger of the Week for their performances against Santa Ana and Orange Coast last week (Apr. 4-10).

Sophomore right fielder Justice Walker went 2-for-4 including a two run homer in a 6-2 victory over the Dons. In the Chargers 9-0 win over the Pirates Walker went 1-for-1 with another two run homerun and two walks.

Freshman pitcher Vanessa Ledesma (13-1) allowed only one hit in 3.1 innings of relief against the Dons followed by another one hitter in five innings against the Pirates.

Cypress College softball currently holds the state's No.1 ranking and hold a four-game lead in the Orange Empire Conference standings.
