Luke Bartram Earns Charger of the Week (Feb 17- Feb. 23 )
Freshman golf standout, Luke Bartram, earned his first career Charger of the Week Award on Wednesday afternoon. Bartram is the first member of the golf team to earn the award this season.
Freshman golf standout, Luke Bartram, earned his first career Charger of the Week Award on Wednesday afternoon. Bartram is the first member of the golf team to earn the award this season.
The Freshman is native from Bury, England where attended Haslingden high school. Bartram has been nothing short of fantastic since arriving to Cypress College. His collegiate golf career has taken off as he has won three of the five tournaments that the Chargers have participated in. Bartram shot a 71 at Singing Hills Golf Resort at Syucan to lead all competitors and take home first place last week. The Chargers won the overall team match with a score of 369. Bartram has never finished below 2nd place this year in any tournament and has shot 71 in his last three appearances.
Cypress College Golf will be back in action Monday, March 2nd, when they host their home match @ Navy GC. Tee-off is at 9:15AM.
